====== Oat Cookies ====== * 100g (4oz) Margarine * 100g (4oz) Castor Sugar * 1 Egg * 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder * 200g (8oz) Porridge Oats * 1/2 Teaspoon Salt Makes 25 biscuits. Pre-heat oven to Gas Mark 3 (325F/170C). Cream together the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the egg, oats, sifted baking power, and salt. Transfer to a floured board and knead lightly. Roll out thinly and cut into rounds. Place on a greased baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly coloured.
