Oat Cookies
- 100g (4oz) Margarine
 - 100g (4oz) Castor Sugar
 - 1 Egg
 - 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder
 - 200g (8oz) Porridge Oats
 - 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
 
Makes 25 biscuits.
Pre-heat oven to Gas Mark 3 (325F/170C).
Cream together the margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
Stir in the egg, oats, sifted baking power, and salt.
Transfer to a floured board and knead lightly.
Roll out thinly and cut into rounds.
Place on a greased baking tray and bake for 15-20 minutes until lightly coloured.
